
Judy Tyler (born Judith Mae Hess; October 9, 1932 – July 3, 1957) was an American actress and singer. She gained recognition for her role in "Jailhouse Rock" (1957). Tyler made her TV debut in 1947 on The Howdy Doody Show and went on to appear in several film and television productions. Her final acting role aired in 1957 on the television series "Perry Mason". Tragically, later that year, Tyler was killed in a driving accident at the age of 24, cutting short a promising career in entertainment.
